Great customisation of PumpResp, @hugomflavio! Here you might see the beauty of open electronics. If an open hardware device partly matches your experimental needs, just modify it: add or replace components (e.g. buttons or connectors), change the code and make a nice enclosure!

Wow! @Pyro_Science, one of the best sensor manufacture company, is on Twitter now!!! We have used their DO sensors in our DIY #respirometry systems: really robust probes, meters and software. Highly recommended!

About suitability of these 1$ pumps for #respirometry experiments. Last summer, we measured SMR of >400 salmon juveniles using them. Over this period, we replaced 14 pumps due to minor power fluctuations not seriously affected DO traces. Thus, we assembled a new kit for 2022!🐟

Achievement unlocked: 12 hours of soldering on the terrace from dusk till dawn! P.S. it wouldn't be possible to do without Tapi, my fluffy mentor. #soldering #solder #pump #arduino #electronics

We used these 5-12V DC pumps for #respirometry experiments last summer: an amazing price/quality ratio comparable to #Eheim products. amazon.com/Cooling-Miniat… But, 3.3-5V submersible pumps are still needed, @EHEIM🧐 #fishsci #hydroponics #aquaponics #aquaculture
