Revelation 2024: the importance of staying hydrated. We all know this, but this year i discovered that this teaching cannot be overrated. Our entire being requires water. They say we are 60% water. It's amazing how may of our ailments are due de-hydration. Please stay hydrated.

Knees were giving me a lot of trouble. I blamed it on the arthritis, and it was related. but i found that if i can precisely balance the stretching, the exercise, & the recovery time... the knees work better.

Today is a new day. but the last day of 2021. weight is down from Jan. 2021 on a pretty steady basis; particularly since i started walking more mid way through the year. Current weight is 193 lbs; not horrible for a 6' guy; but plan to be down around 183 by the end of 2022.

With the completion of my Marathon goal... 2022 has me looking to emphasis my yoga practice. Yoga has been a part of my life, for my whole life; i've got a teacher's certificate; but it's actually never been an every day practice. 2022 goal is every day, every day...

2021: walked over 3,650,000 steps in the year. Current total is 3,700,919, plus whatever i do over the next couple of days. This is the 2nd year in a row for me on this goal.

Great goals met for me in 2021. Walked the Marathon. a nice seniors time of 8:21:11. My goal was to be at least under 9 hours with the pit stops; and i did that. One check off the bucket list.

2022 is coming up fast. Decided to up my walking goals. headed for a March Marathon Madness. Let's Train!

The simplicity of jumping rope, has always made it one of my favorites.

What did I just watch? 😂😂😂

Yesterday i finally made my goal of 3.650,000 plus steps in 12 months. I missed this goal by a bit for the last 3 years. but 2020 is a great walking year, with no injuries. Yea for that! Yea for me!

Weight continues to slip down each week. Feeling good about that.

I mentioned that for my diet, i avoid: simple carbs, and added sugar. But IF produces the results. For exercise... Walking saved my life, gotta keep moving. Then just keep the muscle mass up and just keep fine tuning the process.

For weight loss and feeling light and energetic the IF (intermittent Fasting) seems to have the largest and most consistent affect for me. I'm using an unusual 15:9 ratio that comes from an ancient Japanese Longevity system; but the 15 hours seems to be enough for me.
