Exam system favours the privileged and leads to gross inequality in society. How can children from low-income families compete with children from generations of professional people? Nature bestows her gifts unevenly. We need to find a way to make life fairer #alevels2025

Two types of school needed: a 'detention centre' style school for the uneducable unparented and a school for the parented where the children learn in a positive and supportive learning environment @AllisonPearson

If you want more teachers and high calibre ones at that, you need to fix behaviour. It's easily the biggest problem. So much teacher energy is lost to dealing with defiance, rudeness and laziness @AllisonPearson @bphillipsonMP

A levels rob young people of their youth - and to what end generally. Most will still end up in dead-end jobs @bphillipsonMP @guardian

On balance, isn't AI going to make people stupider? #AI

There's obviously too much crime in this country for police, courts and prisons to cope with. People are just brazenly stealing in shops @AllisonPearson @ukhomeoffice

Wife just in M&S Food. Guy strolls in and steals 4 bottles of whisky, brazenly. Isn't even subtle. Him and other gang members known to police. Happens most days and several times on some days. We need to get a grip. @marksandspencer @ukhomeoffice @AllisonPearson

Foden celebration is highly inappropriate with events in Ukraine and Israel. Man City should apologise for this and make a donation to UNICEF @SkySportsPL

Why do we allow naughty children to spoil school every day for children who want to learn? #letgoodchildrenlearn @AllisonPearson

Teacher I know can't even get to the children that want to learn due to dealing with EBD children. Do parents know what's going on? Secondary school must now rank as worst time of life @AllisonPearson @GillianKeegan @Ofstednews

So a neighbour knocks a hole in my foundations while having an extension built and Brum Council have nothing to say about it @AllisonPearson @guardian @BhamCityCouncil

So we took power back from the EU. How well has that worked out? @GOVUK @AllisonPearson

The internet and phones have killed childhood for most children. It's so sad. EE's mea culpa comes too late. @AllisonPearson @EE

Are schools now run by naughty children, supported by spineless managers trying to be their friends? Nice children must have the worst experience each day, having to watch their peers be rude and defiant. Shame on the Govt @AllisonPearson @GillianKeegan @Ofstednews

So what's happening to war profiteers British Gas' 2023 profits? First 6 months resulted in near enough 1 billion? Are they going to help people who are struggling in the 'cost of living' crisis? @AllisonPearson @BritishGas @ClaireCoutinho

What do we do about all the unparented children ruining schools? @educationgovuk @AllisonPearson

How do we become a kinder society? We need to encourage kindness that is genuine and not just done for some reward like a place in Heaven or a more effective CV @AllisonPearson @JustinWelby

Many children have been ruined by the media, more specifically social media. Step into any secondary school to see what's happened @AllisonPearson

When are we going to have an open and honest discussion about how too many secondary school children are oversexed. My partner hears sexual remarks in her classroom most days and penises are drawn everywhere: desks, walls and books. Graded 'good' by Ofsted @educationgovuk

M&S need to sell all veg loose, if they insist on not having a 'use by' date. You don't know how old the veg is any longer, so need to handle it. I buy veg from Sainsbury's now as I've bought too much veg at M&S that's nearly finished @marksandspencer
