Cote

@FlightNotFights

I guess battling is just for the brave.

“Guess I shouldn’t worry about it… I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.”

“…hopefully I won’t need to worry about that for a while.”

“The kid’s growing up fast…” he thought aloud. “I wonder when I should let him off on his own…”

Another day had passed. The Axew the Braviary had been tending to was on the verge of sleep, and Cote picked through the berries he’d found.

“He’ll survive. Maybe I’ll even see him again one day…” he had the slightest thought of Kotori… “It’s happening a lot to me lately.”

He snickered to himself, trying to relieve the slight guilt. “It was pretty funny, though.”

“He was… a character, alright.” A slight twinge of guilt welled up in him. “Maybe I shouldn’t have tried to scare him like that…”

Rolling a few berries out for his Axew son, he thought about the Seviper he had met recently.

@PoisonTailed “What are you drawing there?”

@PoisonTailed “It’s nice to meet you.” He smiles slightly, trying to fix his reputation.

@PoisonTailed “I don’t even think I got your name. You can call me Cote.”

@PoisonTailed “I know more places to pick anyways.” He rolls the last of the berries onto the ground.

@PoisonTailed “Are you sure? I’m trying to extend an olive branch here. Literally, even.”

@PoisonTailed “Well… I’m sorry.” He laughs once more, stopping himself. “Here, you can finish off these berries if you’re still hungry.”

@PoisonTailed He laughs just a little more. “I just haven’t had a good laugh like that in forever… besides, hunting isn’t in my book.”

@PoisonTailed He laughs for a moment, before waving a wing. “Sorry… I couldn’t help myself. I wouldn’t hurt a Bug-Type. Trust me.”

@PoisonTailed “Hm? Oh, I was just fattening you up. You’ll make an awfully tasty meal to peck at!” He smirks, trying not to laugh.

@PoisonTailed “Yeah, no problem…” he nodded as well.

@PoisonTailed He leaves a few more on the ground. Cote knew most of the fertile berry bushes, so leaving a couple wasn’t life or death.

@PoisonTailed With some surprise at the speed of his eating, he asked, “…Er, would you like some more?”
