You stumble into something, get a small win, and that win makes you curious enough to get another win. The fire builds from tiny wins, not from inspiration.
I just had a rough conversation with Claude Example - "You don't "ignite the spark." That's motivation-p*rn bullshit from YouTube gurus." I learned - - I'm chasing the result not the process❌ - I have no skills and no means❌ - I don't care for what I'm building❌ Eye-opener
Life gets in the way, that's a fact I haven't done anything in 2 weeks and I don't even know why, but I have a dream and it won't wait for me
If there was one thing that you could do to organize better, what would it be?
Haven't worked on this for a week. Quarter ending meant exams. Those are done, so back to working on this now. Life gets in the way sometimes, don't let it stay in the way.
Being under 18, or before 18 means dealing with school. After ignoring those obligations all day to work on Clarify (extremely frustrating work day), maybe I switch focus a little.
Day 11 - What am I doing I worked so hard but did nothing today. It makes no sense but it couldn't feel more true. Hit a roadblock with Lovable development so used Cursor for the first time. Clarify's development will take a while. Still market validating in meantime!
Showing up every day and going backwards is something I was not ready for, but here I am. An idea, a dream, but no way to execute it (I don't know how to code).
I'm in the market validation phase right now. I've posted about it maybe every day for the past week and a half. I still haven't gotten quite where I wanted to yet. It's now hitting how lonely building something is, and I've realized that now.
I just ranted to my new productivity app about how I feel stuck and can't validate my new idea. I was met with this response. The thing that was causing me problems, may have just solved it. I don't know how to feel right now honestly, just, wow.
No one to ask for help No mentor Not even an adult yet I still took this journey upon myself and I have to see it through Even days like today where I just stare at a screen trying to validate my idea The work doesn't stop
I've dm'd 30 people in my target market to validate my next project. I've gotten 7 responses. 0 feedback after sending the MVP. There is a problem that my idea solves, but maybe the MVP doesn't communicate the final product well? Am I reaching out wrong? Or do I get off reddit.
Day 10 - A Break Still market validating but decided to improve my MVP a bit. Easier to understand More intuitive Cleaner flow Market validating until the end of the week, then deciding if this is the project, or just another idea. More to come, work, and progress.
B18 simply stands for "Before 18." To me, it's more than that. It's the commitment to achieving the dream regardless of circumstance. No special skills, no help, still in school, but why not start. First product failed, second one might, the third too. The dream is still there.
Day 9 - The MVP Improved the MVP today. Not just a cool feature, but a reflection of the final idea. Instead of just getting a goal when brain dumping, you know get a plan along with it. Market validation continues, work still continues. Progress is progress though :)
Market Validation Essential but tiring Beneficial but lonely Grueling, but could be the start of something great. Yesterday I messaged about 20 people on reddit and after 5 hours, no response. I check back this afternoon and at least 5 people are interested. Patience is a virtue.
Day 8 - Talking to air Still validating the new project Clarify. Sent maybe 20 DMs to people who fit my ICP, and got no responses. Lots of potential for this project, but the market is still quiet. More DMs, talk to more people, stay relentless, believe in yourself.
Market validation is meant to be hard. As someone without experience and only 2 months into entrepreneurship, what's your advice for me?
Day 7 - New Beginnings I missed Day 6. Not because of an unwillingness to work but life happens. Now, with a new perspective on my project Clarify the mission isn't to make money, but to solve a problem. - MVP ✅ - Mission ✅ - Market❓ Next step is how the market reacts.
Day 5 - Life Discipline means doing it no matter the circumstance. When it's 9 PM and you get home wanting to do nothing, show up. I did, and I'll lose a little sleep, but that's the reality of entrepreneurship. Success isn't a straight line up, it's a dip, followed by growth.
Day 4 - Reset A day can be productive without needing to feel like you grinded 8 hours in a row. Didn't work too much on the business today, but got my habits down and life in check. These things are connected, and only when you prepare your life for success can you achieve it.
