If anything, this mindset gives me an edge over other players. I play to win AND I play for fun. I'm engaged in each match because I can find the fun in it... this helps vs steve, sonic, etc. Losing doesn't scare me... it's just a game! How can anyone win when they're scared?
I know Peab means well here but this line of reasoning never worked for me - it was always so much more than a game. in fact whenever I heard someone say something in line with this it felt belittling. But then again maybe I was just taking it all (life included) too seriously
