The Folsom Public Library will host a community blood drive in partnership with Vitalant on Tuesday, August 12, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Register online or call 877-258-4825, and reference blood drive code SMFD327. Walk-ins are welcome and will be accommodated if space allows.
Due to the Independence Day holiday next week we will be closed all day on Friday, July 4. The library will be open normal hours on Saturday July 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Folsom Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, May 20 for lighting repairs. Exterior library book drops will be open for book returns during repairs and access to the library’s electronic resources, eBooks, and eAudiobooks will not be impacted.
Coming up this Saturday, we will host local author Jennifer K. Morita for a talk on her debut mystery novel that is getting a lot of attention. The author will talk about her career transition from Journalist to Novelist. The talk will be followed by Q&A, book sales and signing.
Local Author, Elaine Russell will speak about her historical novel, When the Tamarind Tree Blooms, at the Folsom Public Library Saturday, February 15, at 1 p.m. Russell will discuss her years of research in Laos, France, and California. More info on the Library website.
