After planting corn the second week of Sept @CFAES_OSU Wooster, students @osuati did stand counts today to see which row unit configuration did the best. Tailgate picture shows plants planted at .5", 1.5", & 3.5" depths. Pretty clear winner if you ask me! #CFAES #ATI #OhioState

Only downside to raising #PasturedPork is the hog craters that they dig to stay cool! Far less severe than in years past thanks to mounting the waterer and feeder on skids now! Big thanks @GGunthorp for that idea!

Final month of my internship has gone great. Here I am plowing in some 4” perforated pipe on 20’ spacings. On this job we installed just over 57,000’ of pipe. Just wrapped this job up and off to the next!
Beautiful morning on the farm for processing our 3rd batch of Pasture Raised Poultry! We processed 51 birds with an average weight of 5.54lbs. Our total weight for this batch was 277.125lbs, down about 13lbs from the last round, but the birds were much more consistent!
That's a wrap on the @CFAES_OSU internship visits! Carter is working at his family's tiling business, Maddie is an agronomist intern @Prog_Crops, and Austin is working for Miller Farms! It's been a fun summer seeing all that our @osuati students are experiencing! #CFAES #TeachAg
Nearing the end of my @CFAES_OSU internship visits. This week I drove across NW Ohio for 5 @osuati students. Grant is working on plot management with @HeritageCoop, Luke is working @NutrienAg, and Skylar began his own drone scouting business through @AgremoApp. #CFAES #ATI #OSU
