No acknowledgment of wrongdoing or contrition from CK Strategies for violating campaign laws when working for Clr. Murphy as a consultant. They made a $5,000 “contribution” to the City of Boston (the penalty, itself a slap on the wrist), and have “moved past it.” Accountability?

Today’s Herald includes another photo/story of the BPD cruiser torched by out-of-state teens. I documented the Herald’s publication of this photo in 6 of 11 concurrent, daily editions in October, beating their drum to support Trump’s narrative that Boston was a “City in Chaos!”

On 10/5, two teens (18,19) from Rhode Island torched a police cruiser during a street takeover. Both were arrested. In the past 11 days, the Herald has posted the same photograph of the cruiser on fire in 6 of 11 editions, including another half-page photo of the incident today.

The Trump regime sent masked thugs in plain clothes to disappear this innocent researcher, taking her from from a Somerville street simply because she wrote in support of the Palestinian people. Our own government continues to torture her, without mercy. bostonglobe.com/2025/12/04/met…

“It continues to be the wrong time to shift more of the tax burden on commercial owners.” — NAIOP in Commonwealth Beacon In which “the wrong time” is any time since NAIOPs founding in 1967. Do I need to provide receipts?

My Boston Globe pet peeve over the past 5 years, well-documented on my feed, now seemingly dead: The Globe would publish a puff piece about Boston Dynamics every 2-3 months, like clockwork. Sometimes more frequently. It was bizarre. My new Globe pet peeve, becoming routine:

The Boston Globe is complicit in the inundation of American culture with the whims of creepy billionaires, routinely backslapping the undeserved. In *every* example of a “gift,” including this one, the donor is sacrificing nothing in relative terms. bostonglobe.com/2025/12/02/nat…

Boston traffic worsens, still among the top five worst in nation, report says. bostonglobe.com/2025/12/04/met… My Globe comment, below. And a comment by Peter Gerlings, always worth a read.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is making a new push to reduce sticker shock for residential property owners when the next tax bills come out in January. She's urging state lawmakers to adopt a Home Rule petition that was blocked by the Senate last year. dotnews.com/2025/wu-renews…

Consultant helped Boston City Council candidate and a union backing her, breaking campaign finance law, regulators say… bostonglobe.com/2025/12/03/met…

In today’s @javawithJimmy interview, Mayor Wu discusses property tax increases, the City’s lawsuit against Trump admin re. $29m in housing funds, resiliency, and (today’s priority at the Globe) her frugal trip Canada. 1:1 interview starts at 33:30… youtube.com/live/87U-kdVL6…

The Boston Herald hasn’t published a single caricature or otherwise unflattering photo of a woman or person of color in a position of responsibility since I called them out 8 days ago. How long will the drought last before the levee breaks?

As is the example, not the exception, white men in positions of responsibility are nearly always presented flatteringly in photos. In this example, the Herald created an inset, choosing a photo of Mayor Wu that met a lower standard than the photo of Kraft. Just politics? No.

We are being terrorized by the Trump regime, and worse, we’re likely becoming inured to it. How is this view even remotely acceptable? bostonglobe.com/2025/12/03/nat…

Imagine the value in tourism alone, resulting from Wu’s trip to Canada. Imagine the intangible value, raising Boston’s profile nationally as Trump falsely claimed Boston was in “chaos.” Now imagine the Globe, nitpicking an exec decision re. $13,000. bostonglobe.com/2025/12/02/met…
