The Varsity Girls Track team captured the ACIS Championship yesterday at Red Hook. Plum ‘22 won the 400m, 800m and 1500m races. The Boys Track team finished 2nd at the ACIS meet. Congratulations to all! #GoFSOwls
On Tuesday Upper School students traveled to Albany with the members of the Kalief Browder Foundation to join the Campaign for Alternatives to Isolated Confinement (CAIC) and other advocates from across the state who are lifting their voices for criminal justice reform.

Friends thanks Executive Director of the @FriendsCouncil, Drew Smith, for hosting Quakerism 101. Drew lead an insightful discussion on Quaker beliefs and practices and the role of Meeting for Worship for parents, faculty and staff.

In February, thousands of students across NY State participated in the New York Math League competition, including students from Friends. Today students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 were recognized for their outstanding achievement in the New York Math League. Congratulations to all!

In honor of Women’s History Month, Friends hosted a panel entitled “Women in Executive Leadership: Choice, Power, and Change” during US assembly. The event lifted up the stories of four pioneering women — all parents at Friends who serve in executive leadership positions.
Spirit Day is tomorrow — Tuesday, March 12! Show your School spirit and wear red or your Friends gear in celebration. Today students decorated their special Spirit Day shirts in anticipation. The day will be packed with fun activities, including the All Star Owls Basketball game!
