Co-founder fit is less about length of relationship and more about ability to communicate over the gunfire while in the trenches.

What are startup tropes you disagree with? for me: - co-founders should know each other well prior - founders shouldn't set out to start a startup without a spark of insight - founder shouldn’t have any diversification (ie be a scout) or else they'll be less all-in on their co



There’s also no confidence level lower than walking into work when the barber misunderstood your instructions.

There’s no confidence level higher than fresh haircut confidence.
