And let them know you aren’t giving up on them. It’s never too late for them to jump back into your virtual classroom to restart learning if they’ve had to be away for a bit. Our only norm during this season on our team is “grace.”
Officially knowing that school is closed the rest of the year is hard for us & hard for our kids. Whatever online learning is happening in this moment, just stop and go give your kids some sort of virtual hug. Let them know their loved. Let them know you aren’t going anywhere.

MLK Jr. was assassinated on friend Maya Angelou's birthday, on April 4, 1968. Angelou stopped celebrating her birthday for years afterward, and sent flowers to King's widow, Coretta Scott King, for more than 30 years, until Coretta's death in 2006. #BlackHistory2020
