The final presentation of the day was given by EUD's Working Group on Minority Languages about recognising national sign languages as minority languages - with Dr Filipe Sousa, Professor of Constitutional Law in Portugal 🙌
Now the delegates are answering a survey about their knowledge of how well the EU accessibility legislation is implemented in their countries...the answers show that most EU countries have not fully implemented the deaf-inclusive provisions yet ❌
Today, we held a webinar for our members -national associations of the deaf- on the importance of data collection to support their advocacy efforts, via an EUD census on deaf people - thank you to all who participated for your valuable contributions! #EUDisabilityRightsStrategy📊
