Fantastic article on @rui_8mura and challenges growing up and coming to #Spokane to play for @ZagMBB He is as nice, thoughtful and focused as the article describes. And now I understand why @KillianTillie was always banging on the my window to distract him in class... #GOZags

Two things that Red Sox fans from previous generations could never have possibly imagined: 1) The Red Sox are 16-3 in their last 19 WS games. 2) The Red Sox have won the last four World Series in which they've taken part.

Tonight, the Red Sox earned their pinstripes.

Honestly one of my favorite things about this Red Sox season is them taking “New York, New York” and being like nah, this belongs to us now

Victory for female athletes today as a court granted a preliminary injunction disallowing Eastern Michigan from cutting 2 women's sports teams in a Title IX case. Court seems concerned with the proportionality of male-female student-athletes to the male-female school enrollment.

Panthers player, Efe Obada, had a great game yesterday, recording a sack. What many don’t know is that as a child, he was trafficked from Nigeria to the UK. I’ve met Nigerian athletes with similar stories. Human trafficking exists in major U.S. sports. usatoday.com/story/sports/n…

Thanks again @rscibetti and @RulingSports Some amazing answers that really bring the content of the class to life for the students and give them some real world context. REALLY Appreciate it! #EDPE207

We also helped one NBA team come up with a new model of how they tracked and measure social engagement for sponsorship deals. #EDPE207

Justin W. Marquis reposted

Absolutely! Lots of teams do this since sponsors are paying for social content. Companies like @hookitcom, @MVPindex and others try to do the calculations from a third party perspective. #EDPE207

For someone who wants to obtain a career in the sport business industry, what is one thing you suggest I do to make my resume look different than other people who could be applying for the same position? #EDPE207

Alright #EDPE207 we've reached 50min with @rscibetti and @RulingSports...last call for questions then let's all Tweet them a Thank You!

Justin W. Marquis reposted

Great question, and one that could probably be analyzed by looking at the historical data. It would depend on the team and player, and who has the bigger audience. #EDPE207

#EDPE207 is there a way of ascribing $ (income) to social media engagement for teams? Pro vs college?
