The delivery on some of the lines in this film made me want to rip my shirt and beat my chest, this one in particular made want to scream RAAAAA while throwing my shirt around but I was in the theater so I couldn’t

when victor leans in to listen to the creature’s heartbeat to confirm he’s made his scientific achievement but the creature’s first thought is to embrace his papa #wow

this is the part of the movie that changed me the most. it’s not about if victor deserves forgiveness (he doesn’t), it’s about the creature allowing his fury to die with his abuser. the person who cursed him is dying and the creature can be free without victor in the world.
