Marvel's #BlackWidow is fun, but unremarkable. Cast is great, esp. Florence Pugh. Plot is Bourne-lite but with some decent character moments and action scenes. Taskmaster is wasted and Ray Winstone seems miscast. Worth a watch but far from being a top-tier MCU entry. Thoughts?

RIP Richard Donner who helped us believe a man could fly. Among his greatest directing achievements were The Omen, Ladyhawke, The Goonies, the Lethal Weapon films, and if course Superman: The Movie and its first sequel.

#Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (2006) is a decent director’s cut completing the original director’s two-part vision with a story centered around Superman’s love life and his servitude to humankind. #dccomics #moviereview bookidote.com/2021/06/23/sup…
