It's International Mother Tongue Day! Languages are playing an important role in #IntergenerationalLinking, helping connections to form: "I am enjoying using my [Turkish] language skills to speak to the older people, it makes me feel special for having a skill not everyone has”
In which I suggest that women are not "forgetting to have babies", but that we live in a society which penalises women for having babies. Maternity discrimination, cost of childcare, lack of flexible working... These are the obstacles we face- not a lack of fertility education.
