Decoding East Asia’s power plays | Geopolitics, strategy, and an analysis of Asia's century.
If the ROK-China-Japan meeting can increase dialogue and understanding between the three countries, Asia is much closer to achieving its full potential.
This post by Sender shows the incompetence of the Nikkei Asia authors because they are afraid to mention China's successes through international cooperation like the RCEP & BRI. If you are going to critique Asia, make it meaningful. #Asia #Geopolitics

I just finished reviewing Chinese history from the 1850s to the 1950s. My knee-jerk reaction is that China must succeed for humanity. They have endured far too much suffering by the hands of foreign powers.
“It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal.” ― Henry Kissinger

GOOGL.O shares fell 8%. Apple fell short of its market expectations. - Reuters The AI race is entirely on China's side. Making anything in the U.S. is costly, as evidenced by the amount of money used to make ChatGPT. Cooperate, not compete!
This should not come as a surprise to anyone! America relies on foreign talent, while China relies on its people. Ironically, America depends on immigrant Chinese talent!
🚨🇨🇳🇺🇸 BREAKING: CHINA HAS DEFEATED AMERICA 🇨🇳 DeepSeeak BEATS OpenAI 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 BYD BEATS Tesla 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 Huawei BEATS Apple 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 Huawei BEATS US Telecoms 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 Alibaba BEATS Amazon 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 CATL BEATS US lithium-ions 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 TikTok BEATS Instagram 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 DJI BEATS all US drones 🇺🇸 🇨🇳…

If Japan and China can become partners rather than competitors, they can effectively work together to manage the labor shortage that is to come through robotics and AI rather than accepting large populations of immigrant workers. (some states, it is already happening in Japan).

If Japan wants to achieve Society 5.0, it must work more with China, not less, especially as China grows as a robotics manufacturing powerhouse. With an 11% year-on-year increase, China has been the biggest robotics manufacturer for 11 consecutive years!

Scott Paul doesn’t understand/refuses to admit the reason China is manufacturing ships 232x faster than the U.S. Not because of “EVIL CCP policies,” but simply, China has a stronger population. The Chinese people simply works harder and better than Americans.

China is doing nothing and winning. A few points: 1.) Deepseek-R1 is now equal to/better than ChatGPT, all while being 96% cheaper. 2.) Chinese EVs like BYD defeats all EV manufacturers in the world. 3.) Trade surplus hits a record near-trillion dollars. 4.) GDP growth 5%

In order for East Asia to reach its full potential, East Asia must unite. China understands this, but the question is will Japan and South Korea break free?
