We just experienced a (friendly) DDoS attack. The account that caused it has been blocked. Only pay-as-you-go customers were impacted. The issue has been resolved.

At 2:04pm we experienced 12 minutes of outage. All services have been restored.


The spreadsheet upload tool is now functioning as normal. We apologize for the frustration.

This evening, we discovered that API usage was not tracked for approx. 4 hours this afternoon. The ability to use the API or results were not affected. The issue has been corrected. However, your daily usage may be lower than expected for today, and consequentially, your bill.

A few short (2-3 min.) blips of API and Dashboard outages might occur this evening as we upgrade internal infrastructure to make geocod.io faster and smoother for the future.

The API is seeing slow responses and/or timeouts. We are working on the issue and should have it resolved in less than 30 minutes.


We're still waiting for our main database server to come back online, the DC is reporting power supply issues with this specific area


Several parts of our infrastructure are starting to come online again. One critical part is however still offline.


The issue has been narrowed down to a network issue in a datacenter where about a third of our servers are located.


We're in contact with our hosting provider, who's working on resolving the issue. Hoping to have an ETA soon.


We're currently seeing issues that affects the dashboard, api as well as the spreadsheet upload tool. We apologize for the inconvenience.


We just had a small outage of the dashboard due to a post-deployment issue. It has been resolved now. The API was not affected.
