Entanglement depth is used to characterize the entanglement of many-particle systems and has been used in many experiments. For a tensor product of pure multi particle states, it is the size of the largest particle group. We look systematically for all similar quantities that…
Our review paper “Quantum metrology from a quantum information science perspective”, written by Iagoba Apellaniz and myself, was published 10 years ago. We hope that it helped to connect these two fields, mentioning many recent results on the quantum Fisher information and many…

This morning at #ICE9 we get into quantum metrology/entanglement as well as some real "people" sensing, with Robert Trényi, Szalay Szilárd and Ainitze Biteri. (The "people" thing is an #ICE9 inside joke)

🔴Yesterday at Tabakalera, we had a very special day. More than 240 @Ikerbasque researchers reflected on the future of research. Very inspiring day!

In this paper, we consider metrology with several copies of the quantum state. Some very weakly entangled states can reach maximal metrological usefulness in the limit of many copies. We also make general statements about the usefulness of a single copy of pure entangled states…

In this work, we relate quantum Wasserstein distance to the quantum Fisher information, a central quantity in quantum metrology. We also write down inequalities with the quantum Wasserstein distance based on entanglement criteria.
