I just finished the authentication portion of my code. On to the next step. If anyone would like to check it out I'll leave a link to it.. github.com/fergusonharrol…

Ok I got the first part of my program running (the authentication) but there are something is amiss and I need to check it but fir some reason my program won't load the debugging symbols. I'm using gcc and g++ with the GNU gdb. pastebin.com/FRqLiXW4

Still trying to figure out how to use cmake with external libraries. The time I got it to work I have to change the submodule around so I couldn't push it. But I'll definitely figure it out. I listened to paid dues by 8ball&MJG today and it reminded me that I have to pay my dues.

Here is my github repo check it out: Fergusonharrold/quizRandom

Got my code up and running. I have a few bugs ti gi find in it, but it's working. i can run it now.

With me) and i've learned a lot about CMake and Makefiles. I think i'll have it this time. I'll hit back later and let you know....

Mind right and got my head in the game (thanks in big part to my fiancee) and although i haven't gotten it to run, i've been able to link my exteral libraries and ive started pushing things into my repo on github (fergusonharrold/quizRandom if you'd like to follow this journey

I've had a crazy time teying tobget my test program to run. There have been errors after errors. I've been working on it for about 4 days now. I'm not going to lie, for a split second i was thinking that i may not be cut out for this(it didn't last long lol), but i got my

So i know that i haven't been on in abfew days, but here's the latest... it took me about 3days but i got my server set-up and running. I love Ubuntu. I wrote the code to all of my login functions, then i wrote a test for them....... thats when all the trouble started

I'm actually having problems generating my rsa public key and copying it in termux. It's the last part that I need

Just learned that I can turn my phone into a computer and write mycode myself by getting a cloud server and sshing into it using termux. I have to look more into it but I'm very excited about the possibilities. This will be si cool.

I finished my program!! I have to review it and do my installation script but it's done.

I love watching the speakers at the #cppcon, they are very enlightening. I've learned so much already..

Spent 6 or 7 hours working on my random number generator. I finally found what I had been looking for. A great solution to the terrible rand() % lol. If anyone one is still using that in their random number generator please check out the video I linked earlier

I advise anyone who is dealing with random numbers to watch this video. Learn how to use the <random> in C++. This video will improve your coding as soon as you watch it. rand() Considered Harmful channel9.msdn.com/Events/GoingNa… via @ch9

Finished coding today at 1:30 am. Almost finched my login functions. I should finish them by tomorrow and I'll be able to start my login window. Can't wait for another great day of coding. I really love this, I just hope I can use it outside of these walls....
