Since you bring this up @rutlandcouncil I could actually use your help with this. I recently had a carers assessment. We received no extra support, despite there being need and being eligible.

Other than the comment being completely inappropriate and unacceptable... I fail to see how a parent requesting a suitable provision for their child which can meet their needs, can be “disabling”. 🤔

My children do have disibilities, they both have a EHC plans, and they both recieve specialist provision. I look forward to hearing from you 🙂
