Agreed but slightly rephrased: Sandwiched by our own mismanagement, we are. #climateCrisis #pandemic #ownup
You can’t stay indoors because of Covid and you can’t go outdoors because of air quality. Sandwiched by misfortune we are. As long as there’s Netflix and Twitter most of us will be alright. A different level of pain though for those directly impacted. Sending prayers 🙏🏾
Thanks to @KellyCNBC and @CNBCTheExchange for giving me an opportunity to share my thoughts
"Black/Brown venture capitalists have felt that the industry has a terrible record on diversity for a long time, and a lot of times it felt like shouting into a well," @PrecursorVC managing partner @chudson joins @KellyCNBC to chat about the state of VC and private markets.
States and education departments need to be saying, WHEN we go back, NOT IF we back to school. @WSJ is spot on. #Truth #Kids Students, teachers and parents all think the nation’s big experiment in remote learning was a failure. wsj.com/articles/schoo…
This would seem like pretty important data for us to #Reopen schools! #Kids #education #COVIDー19

On positive days, I see COVID-19 as a storm with a stimulus package of $2T pushing it out leaving a lot of damage behind but hopes of reconstruction. On negative days, the world becomes like the movie Groundhog Day, with COVID-19 deaths whipping lives. #StayHome
#FundChildCare Twitter Storm starting now! Join us to tell #Congress how important it is for them to prioritize support for #childcare in their #COVID19 stimulus. #ChildCareNow
Age old question: You rather lose your safety or privacy? Really! That was probably what Romans were told by Cesar, a fake promise of safety and privacy. Look at what China is going through, are they safer because they have definitely given up their privacy!!
"I suspect that many Londoners feel torn: should safety take priority over privacy? And if so, where do you draw the line in a world where 'normal' surveillance cameras (those without AI) are already filming us all the time?" writes @gilliantett in @FTMag. nyti.ms/36G9C9s

Facial recognition: authoritarian intrusion or crime-fighting tool?
Attitudes to state surveillance vary around the world, reflecting cultural and political norms
"Who is the owner of my kids data?" Is the question. @Go2sNetwork we say, It's time to give the control back to the users. The social network apps have acted like drunken sailors with their user data, it's time to draw the line for the next generation to regain their privacy.
"It’s not unthinkable that future apps might tell schools more about students’ behavior, and that it may become harder to say no," writes @StarFire2258 in @Verge nyti.ms/3120bQq
Given the lack of regulation we need a cigarette-use-warning like: "Entering a facial recognition zone is know to cause permanent damage to your privacy - cover your face".
"An investigation by EFF of the Ring doorbell app for Android found it to be packed with third-party trackers sending out a plethora of customers’ personally identifiable information (PII)," writes @legind in a report for @EFF nyti.ms/2RyWUFd
This is just a superb ad.

Rare events like this will not go unpunished by the royals and the Brits press.
