I am starting my first Hackathon lead by Codedex. I am working with Olympic 2021 data to predict the 2024 Olympic games.
I got busy yesterday and did not post what I worked on. I did a practice problem on setting up invoices and billing customers every month. This was in typescript which I have no knowledge on and it was a fun challenge.
Today I met with my Career Advisor, who gave me many helpful tips. For the coding part of today, I did a coding interview for a company using Woven. It gives you an example of a real-world task such as reviewing a pull request or trying to fix a bug from a bug report.
For my coding today I was able to get all the preprocessing done and I now have the data auto-split for K-fold cross-validation.
Kind of late. I got busy and missed posting when I was done. Today was working on preprocessing the data. I learned how to change data types in tensorflow and fought with bugs for an hour.
For my daily code today I started working on a project to test different ML models on the same data set to see how they compare. I will be using a credit application data set.
I started a 30-day coding challenge on Codedex. Today I am brushing up on my HTML to get a little more practice before the Hackathon.
