Finally have MiniMax M2 running on my Framework desktop at Q2 from unsloth. Its surprisingly good. Getting around 18 - 30tps depending on length, and honestly it seems as good, maybe better than GLM 4.5 Air at Q2.

If you build a VS code extension and have it auto open\focus, you are pure evil. I have 3 now that compete for attention.

Not to pick to much but why do people put descriptions like this in their LinkedIn Bio? Startup Founder and Entrepreneur are the same thing, But then thought leader and mentor. I’m genuinely curious if people give a person with things like this more authority.

Its now official the Raleon team is joining Intuit Mailchimp! This has been a wild couple of weeks, and I am proud of what we've built at Raleon, the customers we've served, and the things we learned along the way. I couldn't have asked for a better team to build with, and to…

SWE 1.5 running on Cerebras, I'm curious where Composer 1 is running. Either way both models are solid, and it changes the AI coding game a ton. Most likely fine tuned Chinese base models, but I don't know if that actually matters. Cursor's core risk is losing access to…

I knew it, Cheetah was a Cursor model!!! Can't wait to learn more about how they made it so fast.

Introducing Cursor 2.0. Our first coding model and the best way to code with agents.

This past week I’ve moved back to primarily using Claude Code, which is just odd to me. GPT5-codex just doesn’t feel the same. Even though the evals are similar, something is off. It’s slow and less thorough than it used to be. Claude code with plan mode has felt really good for…

I’m seeing the same thing in my network. Senior level jobs are stronger, but entry level positions in programming are rough right now. It’s been hard for me to determine if it’s AI related or macroeconomic related.

So... the entry-level job market is BAD bad

If this can get to the point where it can do my dishes, and do laundry, i'd pay for this in a heartbeat. Such a cool time to live in.

I didn't realize how out of touch I was until you see a meme, have to google it, then talk to AI to try and figure out what it means. Only to still not get why its so funny. We were on a camping trip at a Jellystone campground where they have Bingo, you should of heard the noise…

The best AI coding agents have very little separating them at this point. It has been an amazing year, but I don't see any leapfrogging happening anytime soon if ever again. I keep trying to think what the next big jump will be, and honestly beyond a new killer model I don't see…

Wait by the end of 2025? I guess this is already happening some, my daughter loves making web games for example. I just have a hard time imagining any full mobile, pc, or console game written with a game engine or from scratch actually happening that quickly.

Everyone is going to be able to vibe code video games by the end of 2025

How chaotic does AI make working in large engineering organizations? I'm thinking there is probably a ton of work to be done to figure out how to properly incorporate AI in large teams (200+ engineers). I was talking to a few engineers over the weekend that work in a company…

I've been trying out Zed on Windows, and its very solid. I love the integration with Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI. I'm still debating if I'd ever be willing to fully switch over from VS Code, If I were to it would probably be due to its resource usage. Check out the base…

I believe this touches on a real problem. I can feel the shift in how companies talk about ai coding, but there was a while there where literally every other post was programmers are going away.

i wonder how devs would feel about ai if we didn't have all that "taking your jobs" talk out the gate

With the chaos that's going on with Helium and @amirhaleem and @theo it reminded me of a time that I was doing a fun hobby on Etsy where we were making dice boxes. I had this design that I was CNC'ing it was hexagon shaped. Well these knuckleheads over at Elderwood Academy…

This is OpenAI Atlas, from their video demo. I love that even they are bad about fully closing down the browser so it can update. I've put out videos with the Chrome Update button, and I get so many messages asking me to please update Chrome lol.

It is going to be interesting when the Vibe coding platforms really extend beyond web applications. There are some on the fringes that i've seen try to tackle gaming and mobile, but they haven't been very impressive imo. Super curious what AI Studio team has been doing.

Tomorrow is a special day for the AI Studio team. Since May, we have been heads down building a brand new AI vibe coding experience to accelerate the path from prompt to production with Gemini. Can’t wait to show you all :)
