Tune in to instagram.com/gouchercollege… on Wednesday at 1pm for a discussion with CAST Director @wlharder He’ll share his thoughts on the poetry of Morgan Parker, The Privileged Poor by Anthony Abraham Jack and Go Ahead in the Rain by Hanif Abdurraqib.
I know #antiracist reading lists are a dime a dozen right now, so I went out of my way to pick work that I haven’t seen on other lists. @morganapple, @NifMuhammad, @tony_jack, @jesmimi, Frantz Fanon, and Geneva Gay
And as a reminder, reading about reading lists is great, but it is even better if you actually read the books on them and then translate those ideas into action.
I’m on @GoucherLibrary’s Instagram Live tomorrow at 1:00 pm talking about #antiracist books that mean a lot to me & influence my work & thought.
