oomf pointed out that since dynamic pricing works based on demand, ticketmaster probably sent out this many codes on purpose even though they knew it would lead to problems, just so the demand would be so high that tickets would be insanely priced which means more profit for them

if you can write a letter to apple, you can write a letter to ticketmaster. the fees, the dynamic pricing, the literal outright lying to fans about what we can and can’t buy. ticket buying for your favorite artist should not cost us this much money and stress @taylorswift13
I’m having a hard time being excited about having tour tickets atm. Those promised a boost should have been selected. Those with a boost, shouldn’t have to wait in line for multiple hours. There shouldn’t be technical errors. This was the absolute worst ticket-buying experience.
Finally got @taylorswift13 tickets through @SeatGeek for Arlington but would not recommend that truly horrible shit show dumpster fire experience. 4 hours in line, had to reapply code multiple times then told it was no longer valid…thankfully could use my mom’s code🙃 got em tho
