I just lined up 8 years worth of New Years photos of me and hubs. And wow the last two years have not been kind to us. We look SO youthful and skinny in the first photo. In the last photo we look fat and barely awake. Damn pandemic and baby 😂.
In a true demonstration of how being a mom teaches me flexibility: baby boy peed all over his matching family Christmas pajamas. And now he’s just opening gifts in his diaper 🤷♀️😂🎁👶🏼
Baby has been whining for almost an hour bc he is overtired. Finally get his cranky ass to bed and he decides it’s the perfect time to practice blowing raspberries and making fart noises. He’s driving me insane.
Although even when I get home, it’s hard to have family help because he is such a freaking difficult baby.
8 days until i get to be home with my family and have some actual help with this baby. I can make it 8 days. ***Cries and Repeats over and over for 8 days. ***
Baby boy is giving me a super hard time tonight. And just when i thought I was going to cry from frustration and sleep deprivation at 2am, the little jerk bit the hell out of my nipple. 😂🙃😆😫😭
I would kill to have family close by right now. Or to have any real friends here. I’m so so exhausted with the baby and hubs and I desperately need a date night. It’s been hard.
Babies are so hardcore. Imagine growing TEETH. No thanks.
I’m so frustrated with this baby tonight. We actually had a couple friend over and baby has basically ruined the entire night and kept me in the nursery for like 90% of it. It’s ridiculous.
If you ever plan on having a baby, just know VILLAGES DONT EXIST ANYMORE!
So i joined the peanut app to try to make mom friends. Or really any friends. And mostly it’s just been duds and no one I’ve wanted to put effort into. Butttt i connected with this new girl and it turns out our babies have the same name AND we live in the same neighborhood!
I took a stab at moving my baby’s crib mattress to the floor so I could snuggle him to sleep. Well he’s never been a snuggler so idk what i was thinking. All he did was scratch the hell out of my face and stick his finger so far up my nose that my eyes teared up 🙃
This kid is going to sleep in his swing forever. I’m so exhausted from fighting this battle.
Baby boy cut another tooth today and he was in such a better mood! Poor baby
Do any places have good deals on multiple bottles of wine right now? Need to buy for a party in January
Pumping is so time consuming and a pain in the ass with very few perks. But after a day of full socialization I’m happy to have an excuse to escape for a half hour.
