Getting strong is many years in the making. You cant get truly strong over night or over one year. Consistency. Discipline. Hard work.

Don’t worry about how much the person next to you is lifting. We all on our own journeys. Stay on your path and the end results you want will come to fruition with the dedication and commitment that you put in.

If you done slightly more than you did last week or the week before, then you are progressing. Don’t get stuck up in not seeing as much results physically when considering your progression.

Push through the tough moments and show up when you are - Tired - Sore - Unmotivated - Stressed - Or just don't feel like it This is when you build healthy habits and find the results you are searching for, during the tough times.

If you are an athlete and are avoiding training in-season, then you need to re look at your approach and change it. You cant grow stronger or even maintain what you have built if you are not training.

It’s the work that happens behind the scenes is the work which will count most towards your success.

What are your goals in the gym? Now consider are you training as a powerlifter or as an athlete in the gym to achieve those goals? Important question to consider when approaching your training methods.

Your 3 cups of coffee does not count towards your water intake. Hydration is the cheapest and most effective performance enhancer there is

If you are strong on one leg then you will be strong on two legs. But if you are strong on two legs, that does not necessarily mean you are strong on one leg. Dont neglect unilateral training.

Hurt my shoulder the other day. It hasnt stopped me from training (avoiding the injured area). Sometimes you just got to push yourself through tough times if you want to see improvements. Thats life.

Brilliant thread 👏🏻

Why Children Should Resistance Train. The Science. A thread...

Not all progress in life has to be physical progress. Always focus on growing yourself.

What is the magic pill to getting strong and reaching your goals? Showing up and putting in the effort.

If your excuse to not strength train is because you are going to get bulky then you need a wake up call. You are not going to get bulky by accident. That comes with a lot of hard work and commitment to the cause. Simple truth.

Want to build up your self confidence? Go lift some heavy weights and impress yourself. Prove to yourself that you can do what you set your mind to.

Greatness requires the ability to construct your reality. You have to believe in a better reality while also being brutally honest in your present reality. Endless optimism and relentless honesty. It’s a tough tightrope on the path to greatness.

You should either have a plan beforehand when going to train or someone assisting with that plan. Once you keep consistent with that plan is when your results will begin to show. Stop just doing random exercises that you think of on the spot and get yourself on track.

Find something you are passionate about and put effort into it. Chances are you going to be enjoying yourself.
