With all the rain that we've been having around here, I'm surprised that the visible water table, both in the lake and in the outdoor dug well, is as low as it is right now.
With the season moving from "Almost Construction" to "Construction" and the cones going up on I-79, can the Baby Circus Tent Nursery at The Lake of The Coopers be far behind?
With The Ashville Viking Festival over and done for this year, it's now time to drive back to The Studio and start preparing for the next show on our books and getting our calander filled back in for the coming future.
Getting ready for the final day at The Ashville Viking Festival. There's still time to come on out, support the Vikings, the local community food bank, and see many, many, many feats or daring-do.
Today looks like a great day for The Ashville Viking Festival. The weather appears to be cooperating. So come on out, enjoy the fun, and watch us do something.... Gross and Disgusting! Incredibly Dangerous! and Really, Really Stoopid!
As I've been getting ready for The Ashville Viking Festival today, I came to the realization that I've been presenting this show for over 30 years now. Come on out to Ashville, OH and watch is do something, Gross and Disgusting! Incredibly Dangerous! and Really, Really Stoopid!
So, I'm being a "Really Guud Bou" today and using my stick as I'm out and about. However, if you're amoung the group that really knows me, then you know how bad I'm hurting this day.
Whilst driving back from the VA today, I was smacked up along side the head with the notion that I should do a performance tour of military bases, both stateside and worldwide. Alas, I have no idea how to set this up or even where to start. Suggestions.
Gonna take a minute to pat myself on the back here! Why? Simple, I just achieved a milestone in cleaning up around here. That milestone being that I have just finished digitizing all my old VHS Tapes. Most have gone onto other homes, but I'm keeping some of them for..... reasons.
I'm not sure if I should be proud of myself for knowing what my body is telling me right now, or saddened because I'm being told that I'll be spending Saturday and most of Sunday curled up in a small pain ball all day. Okay, okay, I'll admit I make a large pain ball, but still..
Dis is gonna be a day most interesting!!!!! Why? Well, I has me a VA Appointment today and I've already had to down da High Test pain meds. Oh joy!
If anyone is looking for me this day, they'll most likely find me curled up in a pain ball on my bed trying to get back down to my baseline pain levels after last week's nonsense.
I'm glad I'm flying solo this week. For if any of my girls (The women that I work/have worked with and run my life.) were around, I would be put on the passenger seat, told to be a "Guud Boi", and it would be made certain that I used my stick whenever I tried to walk.
(1/2) The chance for snow remains high tonight in the mountains (90% and greater) then tails off back to 40-50% elsewhere.
By the time I get through these 10 VA Appointments somewhen around the 15th, I'll need a month just to get back to my base line pain levels. The only upside is that by the time I get to Physical Therapy, there'll be no question as to why I'm looking to upgrade my mobility device
I'm glad this is a holiday weekend as I get to spend today, Black Friday, at the VA getting sliced and diced. I have a Lipoma at the junction of my Diaphragm and Rib Cage that needs to be removed sooner rather than later. Should be a fun day.
Whilst I'm very happy that what is falling from above today is not frozen and white, I could really do without the reminder of how I used to look at the world on a good day ten years ago or so when I started wearing Scleral/Boston Lens.
Today marks 12 years that I've been wearing Scleral/Boston Lens for to better see the world. I started celebrating by sleeping in for three more hours than I was allowed to at the Blind Vet Center and awoke with my friend, Sunbeam. Glorious!!!!!
Whilst driving from Cleveland to Erie this morn, I realized that the foggy rain I was driving through looked very similar to how I saw the world back around 2011/2012 or so. It was back when my eyes were just starting to heal and my vision was still worse than I really knew.
Whelp, today is the day! I get to leave the relative peace & tranquility of the Cleveland Blind Vet Center & head back into the hustle & bustle of the modern world. Alas, it won't be a gradual transition as I have to hit the ground running with a Frog List that is long & untasty.
