In the opening race in Bahrain, Max Verstappen had a 11.8s lead over P2 & 14s lead over P3 after 25 laps. Lando Norris has a 20s lead over P2 and a 32s lead over P3 right now after 25 laps in Singapore. McLaren's development has been insane.

This is the weekend for Lando Norris to take +15 points out of Max Verstappen’s lead. Won’t be any denying a title fight then. For Max, his best bet might be Charles Leclerc & Carlos Sainz winning 1-2 & hoping Red Bull’s Austin upgrade can be a public act of service for himself.
He may get overshadowed by not being on the podium, but he had a great race and their strategy played out well today. Kind of flipped the script on Ferrari today. #AzerbaidjanGP #F1 #McClarenF1
Lando Norris had a brilliantly executed recovery drive from 15th to 4th. Him (and Albon) holding up Max Verstappen on worse tyres gave him the chance to overtake & outscore Max later. Every point may matter later this season. Lando made the best of the circumstances Sunday.
