I got a chance to play substitute teacher in my district last week. Still thinking about it and wishing I was still in the classroom. I feel like I still got it, but most of all I miss all of my kids and the bonds I had with them. Scary to think that some are in their 30s now 😬.
Bold statement: incredibles 2 was the best super hero movie so far this year. (Leaning that way, but I have to see it for a second viewing)

I miss teaching on a daily basis, but I don’t miss the lack of respect the public gives the profession. I’m no longer in the classroom, but I still get frustrated about stupid comments people make. Have teachers backs! They are raising our youth!!
