Anyone else think @volusiaschools is trying its hardest not to close a school before Impasse meeting??? I mean that would sorta prove @VUEUnion point that it wasnt safe to open face to face... but maybe Im just grumpy...

Volusia School Board meetings are reopening to the public. School started two weeks ago, prompting many to wonder why the board meetings were closed because of social distancing concerns when students and staff were back in school with masks on.

VOL says your not behind... but lets think about this... Students in VOL now have the least time of any district to complete Sem 1... If they are tired of waiting and go back to B&M they are 2 weeks behind... Congrats @volusiaschools for partial truths...

We have received word that teachers at University High School were asked to quarantine after possibly being exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID, yet this school is NOT listed on the dashboard. @volusiaschools, was this another “error”?
I know the number of students in my childs elementary school online learning class grew after the first week. I hate that I have to guess these things because my kid really wants to go back to school, but it is just not time yet. Maybe one day I will be able to make that decision

Just an oversight... hearing also that a large group of students at Taylor Middle High are being asked to quarantine...
