I made breakout room choice doors where Ss will "go" to during their work time. We're using Google Meet & I plan to link different Meet links to each 🚪so Ss can collaborate, work alone, or get extra help. Honoring differences & personalizing instruction! Feel free to use⬇️

With many states beginning to open stores, restaurants, and other businesses, here is a great coloring pages resource to help explain why and how to wear a mask. drive.google.com/file/d/1d-9Ldr…

Anyone else? 😅

The amount of tabs I have open is ridiculous.

Since schools closed, every additional day has made me hyper aware of excel sheet borders, colors, merged and unmerged boxes, and coordinating fonts.

Day 29-31: Coteaching during Remote Learning PD has begun! Updates to follow!

Day 28: I’m torn between having students practice using AT at home and giving them an opportunity to hear me read aloud during COVID. these are short non-fiction readings. Feelings?

Day 27: “the chat needs to simmer down!”

Day 26: our school librarian created a Harry Potter book club to interact with students. You best believed I joined it.

Day 25: Peardeck is an amazing tool to interact with students through google slides. I used it today to check-in with students about work completion for this week. Great goals were made today!

There’s still a lot to improve on, but I think my co-teacher(worlds best I tell ya) have got the rhythm down. We’ve done our best to provide access points to every skill we’re focusing on. This new learning plan… instagram.com/p/B_YgHvNnocN/…

Day 23-24:discussed self determination with my team and how we could roll it out earlier than when students arrive in the intermediate grades.

Day 22: held parent teacher conferences virtually today. I felt uplifted by all the support parents had for us and that they recognize the work we had put in to ensure learning continues.

Day 21: co-teaching PD for remote learning rolling out next week, Tuesday!!!

Day 20: reached out to the AT department to meet with us for a Q&A session on how to better accommodate our students during remote learning. Will update.

Day 18: gearing up to finalize grades.

Day 17 (late): will be published in Language Magazines Resource section, focusing specifically on collaboration and co-teaching alongside some of my EL coteaching staff! Check it out sometime!
