This man broke no laws. He went to a port of entry in 2024 to seek asylum — what the first Trump admin told people to do. A CBP officer accused him of being a gang member on flimsy evidence and had him detained. Then the second Trump admin sent him to torture with no due process.
Another one that was not even included on my list! The canceled 60 Minutes report included an interview with a man who entered legally and never violated any laws but was nonetheless rendered to El Salvador for torture without due process. No wonder they canceled it.
