Every golf course is going to have weeds. Some need to be managed, others are actually beneficial. Keep in mind that a weed is just a plant out of place and they don’t all require control.
Update on the tree damage from the march 3 wind storm. We got lucky to could have been worse.

Hcc has had several superintendents and golf pros over the years but only one thing has been constant for the last 43 and that is Gary Brinley on the golf course. Today Gary gets his due as we name the road to the maintenance facility Gary Brinley Blvd. Thank you “G”
Greens aerification by the numbers. 120,000 sf, 4,320,000 holes punched, 75 tones of sand applied, 4000 lbs of fertilizer/soil amendments added to the system, brushed, rolled and watered x2 all in 8 hours. Great job guys!! #wjgsd
As we move into November the project is lookin good. The greens on the short game area are filling in and we are now mowing them regularly. The greens on the Chapel Course germinated last week and doing well. We are on schedule and moving forward #WJGSD
