However once the remaining stores figures & locations are analysed closer, I wouldn't be surprised to see a second wave of closures.
Sadly, I'm of the opinion that the majority of today's closures didn't require much thought or analysis. Most stores lost a lot of money.
From what I'm hearing from the stores concerned, the list in that last RT is genuine.

One silver lining to HMV not getting new releases is that it limits the availability of the latest Courteeners album.
My thoughts are with my friends in the company who'll be finding out in the next 48 hours whether they still have jobs.

...although I'd love to think that's the MD tweeting using text speak in an attempt to be down with the kids. Securing the yoof vote.
