After an emotive meeting with members today, their final position is clear. Cardiff Central rank is essential for the public & providing a living wage for drivers. The rationale given is inconsistent and concerning. The rank must remain unaltered. Our members will not be moved.

Today, workers from the #Cardiff taxi trade handed over a huge donation to the @CardiffFoodbank. An incredibly kind gesture from a group of workers, who, despite seeing their incomes plummet during the pandemic, felt the need to help the most vulnerable people in our society.
We would like to wish @RctUnite the very best on their new branch and welcome them to @UniteWales family. We are always here if you need anything. @2000jama @AbdulHie82

Amazing achievement from Cardiff taxi & PH drivers raising over 10k even with the financial struggle COVID19 had on their trade. Still caring for local’s that are suffering from food poverty due to this pandemic. All donations will be made to food-bank organisations in Cardiff.
