I had a contributor tonight filming opposing protests in Philly. I thought this conversation between a Trump and Biden supporter was fascinating. Both say they like Bernie Sanders over both Biden and Trump, but they ended up on opposite sides of this election and protest.

Very important I think to resist the idea that the Dems were up against a tough opponent in 2020 and achieved the best result possible. This really understates the weaknesses of the Dem campaign and Biden's weaknesses as a candidate.

This was 100% predicted & yet the did it again anyway. but keep in mind they would much rather lose while trying to get Republican votes than win while trying to get progressive votes. Democrats are NOT an opposition party.
Turns out there were no "Biden Republicans." The whole drift to the right strategy was a 100% failure. GOP voters went more strongly for Trump in 2020 than in 2016.
You have an incumbent President with a massive recession, an unemployment, rent and foreclosure crisis, and an out-of-control pandemic, and this is what the Democrats are able to do with it. When will the time time come when self-critique of Dem ideology will be warranted??
I dunno, maybe in the middle of a pandemic, the biggest crisis people have ever faced, maybe, maybe offer them healthcare like the rest of the world would’ve helped.
