I've started my journey to find 30 wildflowers before my 30th Birthday next year. Here's my blog for my first find, Common Sea Lavender 🌸

My 30 for 30 journey is under way after finding Common Sea Lavender at Gibraltar Point NNR back in August! Check out my blog below on my journey to finding it, plus all the other flowers I saw on that day. 1 down, 29 to go! 🌸✅ thesecreturbanwildflower.wordpress.com/2022/09/02/com…

This week for me marks a year in my #conservationcareer! 1️⃣ It's been a long road to get here but I worked hard to follow my passion and it has been so worth it. Definitely a success worth celebrating on #InternationalWomensDay

Wonderful bright Crocus. The UK has no native #Crocus species, any you see will have been introduced and planted by hand at some point. This one was popping up on a road verge near the town centre. #RoadVerges #townflowers #urbanflowers

Incredibly lucky to live near a park that can support #Snowdrops. They are often associated with #Candlemas, celebrated earlier in the week on the 2nd Feb, as a symbol of hope and nearing an end to the winter. 🌼❄️

Just finished my first week here and cannot wait to get involved further with the project #conservation #conservationjob #conservationcareer
