Call of Duty Black Ops 7 just showed us a survey asking us how fun that match was... after running the benchmark tool

Given DRAM prices are crazy right now, is it viable to buy just a single 16GB stick, and how does that impact gaming vs dual-channel 32GB? youtube.com/watch?v=_nMu1K…

Radeon RX 7000 Lineup, searching for the mid-range as an elitist.... Radeon RX 7400 - OEM Only Steam Machine GPU Radeon RX 7600 <- Entry-Level $270 Radeon RX 7650 GRE (China Only) Radeon RX 7600 XT $330 Radeon RX 7700- OEM Only Radeon RX 7700 XT $450 Radeon RX 7800 XT $500…

The elitist part is to consider x600-level cards as entry level. That class has historically been the mid range.

Our latest podcast discusses the Steam Machine, which based on what we've seen so far, needs to be PS5-level cheap (or cheaper) youtube.com/watch?v=DYwldD…

At a certain point, increased GDDR7 costs would make the GeForce 50 Super series (rumored to have more VRAM) unviable products, based on our analysis

Skyrocketing DRAM prices have already affected DDR5, but it will soon affect GPU prices too. We've done some modelling to show how expensive GPUs will get if GDDR prices increase a lot youtu.be/i38AAGggCVs

Hope Valve has a great contract price for that 16GB of DDR5 memory in their new console, because based on current trends, that alone will easily cost $200 US in 2026

AMD has confirmed to us in writing that RDNA1/2 will still receive game optimizations AT THE SAME TIME as RDNA3/4. So this should put the issue to rest, and if this does end up being the case they probably should have just said this and cut the BS. H͟a͟r͟d͟w͟a͟r͟e͟…

Fun new task for hardware reviewers: closely checking AMD's driver releases to ensure "game support for new releases" is applied at the same time to RDNA 2 and RDNA 4🫤 If AMD are going to change their driver notes and clarify that new game support actually does apply to RX…

AMD should do a full reversal of their decision instead of releasing wishy-washy corporate speak (while still keeping RDNA2 in the inferior maintenance driver branch)

This also potentially affects the Asus ROG Xbox Ally handheld, which launched 2 weeks ago using an RDNA 2 GPU running Windows. Unless AMD specifically provides optimizations for APUs, this brand new gaming system will not receive ongoing game optimizations from AMD

By ending driver support for RDNA1/2 GPUs, AMD are throwing loyal Radeon customers into the trash youtube.com/watch?v=KsjjFr…
