Blocking trade with Russians is bad. Russians aren't going to rise up stage a coup. What's going to happen is everyone who relied on international trade -- artists, devs, lawyers -- will become dependent on the state, maybe even take jobs supporting the invasion in order to eat.
Cutting off innocent Russians and Russians opposing the war. I don't think Putin will be hurt by being banned from PayPal.

You’re not gonna like this, but: your outrage at Russia is not real. It was put there by ppl who know you better than you do yourself. There have been dozens of wars w/millions of casualties in the last 20 years, and you didn’t care about any of them until you were told to.
A close friend: cz, who did you talk to at Forbes to get the deal done? me: no one. A: did you speak with x, y or z? me: don't know them. A: ? me: our team did the deal. I am not that involved. They just asked me to go on TV to take the credit. 🤷♂️
Feedback is like fertiliser. To some it may smell like shit but it is essential for growth.
Advice on peer mentoring: You have to earn trust, ask questions, let them make decisions, and backup those. Slowly start providing feedback on specifics with actual examples. But you get to earn their trust first otherwise no matter what you say would not matter.
