I have been learning and researching assistive technology and technology that can boost academic progress. However, I'm curious about technology resources more specified to ELL students. #GVTech

I have been reading about the power of Project-Based Learning. It is a great way to boost engagement and involvement various interests of students. Can't wait to learn more about this! #GVTech

Formative assessment >>> summative assessments. Checking, at various points throughout a unit/lesson, how students are grasping a concept is so important in the long run. Digital mind maps or student polls are a great tool for this! #GVTech

Finishing a course of technology integration (for educators) this week! Technology will play an important role in our classrooms and learning how to appropriately implement it will help tremendously. This class shifted my perspective for the better! #GVTech

I believe self-assessment and peer-assessment is important and effective in the classroom. It opens discussion, encourages brainstorming, and may widen their perspective when reflecting and discussing with others. #GVTech

While the chosen technology tools and resources should aid and benefit educators, the real question, holding the most importance: How can technology enhance a student's academic progress and help them reach, or exceed, the learning goals? #GVTech

The ultimate goal of technology is to create more efficient lesson plans that reach a myriad of students and helps rather than hinders their academic progress. #GVTech

Technology in the curriculum is not an all or nothing deal, determining the right time and place for technology integration may be more beneficial than submerging the classroom in new forms of technology. #GVTech

CIPA, FERPA, & COPPA are all laws/guidelines for technology is education that protect the rights and safety of students in the digital age. These laws also ensure an educator's awareness and monitoring of technology usage.
