Spell icons: CREATE GREAT FIRE FINAL! Another unique look: the wizards' fingers are shooting flames to set a 3x3 area ablaze. NEXT: Sea of Flames AoE Fire expands to cover a 6x6 tile area on the battlefield.

No excess CPU usage!! "Latest GitLab version" works beautifully on Win11 after setting compatibility options. CPU temp remains almost unchanged. Graphics coding looks good on a 27" 1980x1080p LCD. Camera ZOOM-IN works very nicely!! The 'Have All Spells Dev MOD' works excellent!

Spell Icons: BLIZZARD Left out the game's most powerful spell. :D The original icon reflects the coding for this amazing magic, which has truly special mechanics. Decides pretty much whether you win battles or lose at lower levels, when the enemies are tough!
Spell Icons: Create Fire NEXT Camera angle from Create Ice: now the mage's hand will throw burning embers onto a growing sea of fire. Will re-use the firebolts from the title screen. Probably beef them up to do the fireball. Found two more fire spells: Flame Wave Sea Of Flames

SPELL ICONS: Next and last cold spell is Create Ice This will match the original Create Fire stage setup, so it can be easily recognized in the spell book: hand on top sprinkling snow onto a smooth ice field. While the fire version is spraying fire particles onto a sea of fire
SPELL ICONS: ICE STORM FINAL!!!!!! This was another painful birth. I ended up RE-using the experimental effect done for Icy Hands a year ago: an Ice Super Comet Impact mixed with Christmas Sparklers. Added a couple 3D ice shards and it came out very painterly on oil canvas. :D
SPELL ICONS: Ice Storm Original icon shows high wind speeds + hail via horizontal turquoise lines. I have to re-create a snowstorm in 48x48px size. 10 years ago I already did tornado icons for other sites, so I took screenshots from a YT video how snow particles move in a storm.
SPELL ICONS: Ice Storm Task is to visually represent high-speed snow particle movement seen on the YT winter storm videos and re-create that FEEL of an aggressive & dangerous winter storm, but in a non-moving still image. :D
SPELL ICONS: Ice Weapon FINAL! Ice weapon is better suited as the original spell name anyway. The icon is now cold as an arctic winter. NEXT: Ice Storm
SPELL ICONS: Cold weapon Was near final yesterday. But the end result didn't have that OOMPH! I felt not assured to release this to the public = put it into the game. Credo of graphics artists: - THOU SHALT NOT PRODUCE BAD ART!! So I cleaned up the 3D and doing 2D effects again.
NEXT: Ice Weapon I can use the sword from the shock weapon icon and instead of lightning surround it with hail.
SPELL ICONS: Cold Shield FINAL!! It turned out awesome! :D Just like the rest: was a lot of pain and suffering and wading in the swamp, until I could pour soul into the process. The final push became possible with the help of amazing singers Rekka Katakiri and Kurosaki Sakuya! :)
SPELL ICON: Cold Shield Getting toward the final look. Now have to surround it with snowflakes, then I'll see. The original looks so simple and straightforward. An ice patch in the center of a big gray shield. Remastering it is proving to be surprisingly hard.
Can't wait to try out the old, very CPU intensive 2D filters on this new rig. :D Though I wanted a Terahertz PC from the year 2048 with a dial turned way down to easily emulate 2025 A.D. hardware, I had to put up with today's 5Ghz machines. :D Samsung's 990 Pro NVMe M2 are fast!!
