As a part of the New York Forward grant, the Villages of Coxsackie, Kinderhook, and Cambridge have received $2.5-4.5mm in funding for transformative projects. Following an innovative “plan-then-act” strategy, each Village defined their vision and had an open call for projects.
The Sound Pod is a fun and innovative project that helps students at Public School 112 regulate exposure to noise on their own terms. This installation centers sounds and noises, which are vital, yet underexplored, components of the urban tapestry. #soundpods #harlem #design
