Day 1 #100daysofcodechallenge Recommitting and restarting the 100 days of code challenge. Worked through FCC JS "if/else" statements and switch statements. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Getting through the refresher of my initial js training had helped reinforce the lessons. While it may be redundant, it has locked into memory more and helps in the long run. Next to revisit my udemy portions. Then try not to stall training. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie

The hardest part of learning coding and working full-time is trying to fit it in with all of life's other responsibilities. I am still sticking with the JS, though at a slower pace than ideal. Some progress though, a few days a week at the moment. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie

IMO, one of the benefits of Twitter is that it continually motivated me to keep all it. Seeing others do their thing and enjoying what I do keeps pushing me along. Today was a bit more JS refresh work. I think as a beginner that helps. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Being a mid-life coder, I need balance. I don't expect to get a job doing this full time. I hope to do this freelance eventually. I have many responsibilities now. I continue to do what I can to get to my goal. Today was a bit more JS. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Continuing to work through my refresher training on JS. Just taking my time and doing it when I can ATM. This seems to be the best practice for now. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Slowly working my way back into the habit. Between travel, illness, and else, it's easy to get out of the habit, esp. When new to coding. Working on JS refresher training still & won't count a day till back into habit. Just keep going! #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

As a 46 year old professional, coding every day isn't always realistic, so I'm not counting today. The important thing is to keep going when you can. So I started the FCC JS training again to really understand it. Just keep going. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Day 18 #100daysofcodechallenge Did FCC JS today. Can finally call this a real day of coding. Real life sometimes gets in the way, but I still aim to succeed. In mid life, we can't always win every day, but we can keep trying. #freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

How many use a vertical monitor (those that use a desktop), for their code editor? I just got one and am already loving it personally. #CodeNewbie #freeCodeCamp

Day 17 #100daysofcodechallenge JavaScript: for loops and while loops. Felt better about it today. But JS is NOT easy, but very easy to mess up! The project coming up makes me nervous. But this definitely helps improve my googling skills! #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Day 15 #100daysofcodechallenge Continued with JavaScript, working on a basic version of the Guess the Number game. Didn't really feel like I accomplished anything, but tomorrow is another day. #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Day 14 #100daysofcodechallenge Continued with JavaScript yesterday. It is definitely one of those, as a beginner, to take slow and sometimes repeat, to make sure you got the concepts. The hard part is knowing your mental state and when to NOT do it. #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Day 13 #100daysofcodechallenge Diving into JavaScript. Pretty fun actually. Learning about console. Log, alerts and creating some basic element functionality with HTML elements. Finished with a touch of arrays. #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Day 12 #100daysofcodechallenge Finally finished the clone challenge. Prob shouldn't take that long, but I'm at my own pace and making sure I got it right. I learned a lot, but still feel like I know nothing! On to more JavaScript. #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Day 11 #100daysofcodechallenge Working on JavaScript today. One lesson really stumped me! It was one of those "can I really do this" challenges. So I took the day off, came back the next day and pushed through. Made much more sense the next day. #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode

Day 10 #100daysofcodechallenge Almost done with the clone website project. Makes a little bit more and more sense each day. #CodeNewbie #100DaysOfCode
