Thought it was fitting that I finished my shift this morning with a structure fire on 9/11. I only had one month on the job when that terrible event happened. I got to go home this morning, but 343 of my FDNY brothers & sisters did not get that luxury 24 years ago. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
