We’ve received a good number of Reading Ambassador applications from KS2! We will be selecting successful candidates this week ready for our first meeting. Lots on the horizon for these important roles at HV.
Reading displays are popping up all over school to celebrate the wonderful texts we have to offer. Why not try a traditional tale in Spanish? #everychildareader #readingforpleasure #reading
Reading Champions busy with our book sale. We are building our book fund by selling some of the books that aren’t used in our book areas and libraries anymore. Really proud of how these reading stars have taken on their roles #readinginschool #everychildareader
Our new lanyards have arrived for our reading champion ‘staff’ badges. They are on a mission to support every child to read regularly. Next week, you’ll see a lot more from the reading champions!
It’s so exciting to see the children using our library. We welcome any suggestions to make it an even better experience!
Today the #readingchampions began our pupil voice on reading for pleasure. They’ve chosen to ask a large number of pupils as they want to get the most accurate results so they know that the next steps are right. Such confident and organised leaders! #readingforpleasure
