We run *the* Tor exit node in Honolulu. This is our story.
All good things come to an end. Our original Tor relay's days are numbered, because its ancient Xeon E5-1650 v2-based host is just too inefficient. For a fraction of those resources (and heat pumped into our office), we will soon run 8 exit relays. 😃

We are OK with being the only Tor *exit* relay in Hawaiʻi, but we sure would like more middle/guard relays in the Aloha State. All Tor relays are *not* alike. Consider running a middle/guard relay! DM us 4 help. #tor community.torproject.org/relay/types-of…
Why #infosecbikini matters: At 2019 @defcon I went to the bathroom and a woman was weeping. She'd been at a stall trying to crack some cryptogram puzzles and the man in charge told her it'd be complex for her, she should to go to the "babies stall". She had a PhD in cryptography.
Pleased that our Tor exit has been consistently holding the fast exit flag. Right now we have throughput (7.3 MB) exceeding even some well resourced nodes on the West Coast.
I think this article is about me. I made the same decision tonight.
