"How did I become a chef? My culture has always been around food and how to bring people closer together." Congratulations to @ChefTRichards on the release of his new book "Soul: A Chef's Culinary Evolution in 150 Recipes" today!

Thank you to @KosherSoul and everyone at the Brownsville Community Culinary Center for an amazing meal! Reading Afroculinaria.com in @DrMChatelain ‘s class was my introduction to food history so this film truly wouldn’t exist without his inspiring work!

We’re in Atlanta and ready to start our day visiting @thebusybeeatl and filming @ChefTRichards at @PaschalsLegacy!

We're getting excited for our upcoming trip to Atlanta--we'll be visiting @thebusybeeatl, @MaryMacsAtlanta, and spending time with @ChefTRichards at several of his restaurants! Is there anywhere else we should visit while we're in town?

Thanks for the shout out @foodculturist!

As someone currently working on a doc about the history of fried chicken, I can’t wait to see how the Fried Chicken episode of the new @davidchang show tackles the subject. (The fact that it features both @LolisEricElie and Psyche Williams-Forson has me excited!)
